POP Fundamentals in TouchDesigner is a 3-hour premium workshop where I break down the essentials of working with Point Operators (POPs). Many creators find POPs confusing or unpredictable—my goal is to make them clear and give you the foundation to design particle systems with confidence.

In the workshop, I guide you through the crucial differences between POPs and SOPs, the geometry structures of points, vertices, and primitives, and the logic of attributes that drive everything in a POP network. You’ll also learn practical techniques for attribute manipulation and using Math POPs to create dynamic, relational behaviors.

We wrap up with a capstone fireworks system—a fully procedural, real-time build that combines emission, motion, state changes, and timing logic.
